{"id":1061,"date":"2026-06-02T15:03:31","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T15:03:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/racingsport.xyz\/?p=1061"},"modified":"2026-06-02T15:03:31","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T15:03:31","slug":"hinds-withdraws-from-england-squad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/racingsport.xyz\/?p=1061","title":{"rendered":"Hinds withdraws from England squad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\"><b class=\"ssrcss-1xjjfut-BoldText e5tfeyi3\">Defender Taylor Hinds has withdrawn from the England squad after suffering an ankle injury last week.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Hinds will rejoin Arsenal to undergo further assessment and treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The rest of the England squad will continue training at St. George&#8217;s Park ahead of Friday&#8217;s World Cup qualifier against Spain at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">After the Spain match, the Lionesses will return to England to face Ukraine at Everton&#8217;s Hill Dickinson Stadium on 9 June.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">England will seal a place at the 2027 World Cup in Brazil if they avoid defeat against Spain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Next summer&#8217;s tournament in Brazil will feature 32 teams and run from 24 June to 25 July.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Defender Taylor Hinds has withdrawn from the England squad after suffering an ankle injury last week.
