Bayern Munich are interested in signing <\/b>Liverpool<\/b><\/a>‘s 17-year-old winger Rio Ngumoha.<\/b><\/p>\n The German side made enquries about a potential move for the teenager, but sources have indicated that no face-to-face discussions have taken place.<\/p>\n Ngumoha, currently at a preparation camp in Florida as a supplementary member of the England squad, is believed to be aware of the interest from Germany, though no final agreement over personal terms has been struck.<\/p>\n Sources close to Liverpool<\/a> insist Ngumoha is not available and is viewed as an important member of the first team who operates in a position they are trying to strengthen.<\/p>\n Liverpool<\/a> have a major interest in RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, who, if signed, could provide Ngumoha with a further obstacle to playing regularly next season.<\/p>\n With that in mind, it remains to be seen whether a deal is possible despite Liverpool<\/a>‘s stance that he isn’t for sale.<\/p>\n Ngumoha scored two goals, including a late winner in a 3-2 victory at Newcastle United<\/a> on his Premier League debut in August, and registered one assist in the 2025-26 campaign.<\/p>\n He made his debut under the Reds’ former manager Arne Slot, who was sacked last week, in a 4-0 win over Accrington in the FA Cup in January 2025.<\/p>\n He was aged 16 years and 135 days old at the time and became the youngest player to start a match for Liverpool<\/a>.<\/p>\n Ngumoha, who has played through the England age groups, left Chelsea<\/a>‘s academy in September 2024 to join the Reds and signed his first professional contract with them a year later.<\/p>\n In February 2026, a tribunal ruled<\/a> that Liverpool<\/a> had to pay at least \u00a32.8m to Chelsea<\/a> for the winger.<\/p>\n
