The Scotland tops and kilts are starting to be seen around Boston, normally taking shelter under the nearest tree.<\/p>\n

As expected, it is hot and very humid and those hardy souls making the trek across the Atlantic will need well hydrated over the next few days.<\/p>\n

As has been reported in other host cities, Boston does not – at least on my initial short stroll around – seem to be a place gripped by World Cup fever. A few locals have even asked what we’re doing here! In a very pleasant way, to be clear.<\/p>\n
