Hello and welcome to our live text commentary for tonight’s international friendly between Northern Ireland and Guinea.
Obviously, we all wish that this was one of the last-minute preparation matches ahead of the World Cup, but NI’s hopes of this were ended by Italy in March.
However, thinking positively, this is the first time that Northern Ireland have played Guinea and just the fifth time that they have faced an African position, so it will be an exciting meeting.
Tonight also gives Michael O’Neill the opportunity to possibly give younger players a go with three uncapped teenagers in the squad.
